Jaguar XJ L launched in India


Indian ultra luxury car segment is no more laggard and dull market as it is growing more spicy with more and more world class luxury car inventors investing in world's second largest auto market on globe, India. After many sizzling launches in Rs 70 Lakh and above rage,
next in line we have Jaguar launching its all exclusive and elite model, Jaguar XJ-L in Indian Auto Market. The super luxury saloon is launched in two variants, Jaguar XJ-L 3.0 and Jaguar XJ-L 5.0.
Earlier the Indian ultra luxury car segment was ruled by the brand names like Audi, Mercedes Benz, BMW and now we have a new Indian owned entrant with British origin, Jaguar making the competition stiffer. The launch is exclusive for the company as it is the first appearance in the Indian super luxury segment.
The direct competition of Jaguar XJ-L series will be BMW 7 Series, Audi R8 and Mercedes S Class in Indian auto market. Jaguar XJ-L 3.0 will be priced at a range of Rs 77 lakhs whereas Jaguar XJ-L 5.0 supercharged will cost Rs 1.11 crores with figures taken from Ex-showroom Delhi.
The model is loaded with many efficient technologies which determines the superior performance of the car in its segment. Ultra luxury car from Jaguar is loaded with an efficient 3.0 litre diesel engine which is capable of generating 275 PS of maximum power. Coming to the Jaguar XJ-L Supercharge, it will come loaded with a high technology 5.0 litre V8 petrol engine which is capable of generating 510 PS of maximum power. With these features, the model will give a tough time to the major players of the segment.
