. It seems Audi is on a continuous drive to widen its portfolio, Audi recently launched Audi A8L and now the rumors are doing the rounds that Audi A7 may soon hit the Indian roads. The luxury Sportback Audi A7 was spotted on Pune roads, it is being speculated that the car was on a road test. As per the speculations in the domestic auto market Audi A7 Sportback will be launched in May 2011. The new sedan if enters the domestic auto market will fight with Mercedes Benz CLS and BMW GT, it is being presumed that the car will be available in petrol and diesel mill.
The Audi A7 diesel mill is expected to be powered with 3 litre V6 TDI generating a power of 245 BHP and huge torque of 500 Nm of the twist force from 1400 rpm. Performance from the big diesel allied to Audi's semi-automatic S-Tronic transmission along with a quattro drivetrain system will be great for the desired speed at an expected fuel economy of 16 KMP.
The petrol version is being predicted to be adorned with 3.0 TFSI V6 petrol mill churning 300 Bhp and torque of 440 Nm. The car is expected to give the best driving experience along with Bang and Olufsen audio system which is well placed in the luxury on wheels.
Audi A7 Sportback is expected to be priced at Rs 60 to Rs 65 lakh for the starting version of the car in India. With this price tag it is clear that the company is keen to target customers who love to be spoiled in luxury.
