To provide their customers with superior handling, characteristic styling and superb commanding traction BMW is adding new options and features for the new models of BMW X5 and X6 Spring 2011. BMW wants to get more consumers for these models and therefore they have decided that they would upgrade their new car models to make it more appealing. Both the cars will also have 20 inch light alloy wheel rims that will add more to the styling.
Both the cars will come with BMW ConnectedDrive technology that will also have innovative BMWApps feature in it. BMW further added that the three seater option will also be available for the consumers but only after April 2011. The three seater rear seat option will add more flexibility to the car’s interior usage and will make consumers think about buying these new models. The rear seat option is really nice from consumer’s point of view because they get more option to use the space as cargo as well.
BMW X6 was launched as a four seater Sports Activity Coupe but with the option of rear seat it will get more boost. The five seater Sports Activity Coupe is also available in Nevada and Exclusive Nappa leather. Consumers can even choose for BMW Individual Merino leather if they like it. Another feature that BMW will add to all the future BMW X6 is shift paddles. The shift paddles in the future will be available on the steering wheel which will be similar to all BMW M cars. The right paddle will be used for upshifts and the left for downshifts. On the other hand the cars will also have eight speed Sport automatic transmission.
The wheel rims will not only enhance the outer looks of the car but also improve the car’s cornering behavior. The Comfort Access option will also be provided for both the models. The cars will also have automatic unlocking and activation of the ignition which means that the car can recognize the car key carried by the driver.
