Mercedes G55 AMG has been launched (Gelandewagen) in India today (14th February 2011) by the marvel German auto mobile company with a price tag of Rs 1.1 crore.
Mercedes Benz India did it in style to celebrate the Valentine’s Day by launching the super magnificent Mercedes G55 AMG at Juhu Aerodrome in Mumbai. The newly launched SUV is well known for its stout built and with the launch it immediately grabbed every ones eye ball. Nationally Rally Champ Hari Singh exhibited the true capability of the SUV at the launch.
The power SUV is loaded with V8 engine with a displacement of 5439 cc which is sure to crush the road beneath by churning power of 507 Hp. The Mercedes G55 AMG can speed upto 210 kmph and pickup the speed in 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.5 secs. The SUV born for the tough road terrains is a four wheel drive with five speed automatic transmission along with all disc brakes. It was developed for army in 1970, and for civilians it was launched in 1979 and from then various transformation the SUV has seen.
