Nissan's low cost brand, Datsun introduces two new products in the ongoig Auto Expo. The first is the most awaited MPV segment model, Go+ and another is a Crossover concept called Redi Go, which is making its world debut. The company has targeted big size families having launched these. The Go+ is one of the 5+2 MPVs developed with an objective to provide utter comfort to mobilize large size family, and has got many exciting features. The car gets a Datsun Mobile Docking Station- the practical feature to provide smart-phone integration with the vehicle.
Datsun Go+ is a light weight vehicle which come equipped with 1.2-liter engine, combined to a five speed manual transmission. The engine is good enough to deliver max power output of 67bhp and 104Nm. Moreover, the engine is tunned to offer better efficiency and performance. When it comes to the external dimensions of the car, the MPV gets a compact structure built and it measures as 3995mm of length, 1635mm width and 1485mm of overall height. Its wheelbase of 2450mm is responsible for such spacious interiors inside the car.
The silhouette of the car is dynamic and a bold shoulder line catches maximum attention. The compact design will certainly make the company attain good response from the Indian market. In terms of competition, the new Datsun's MPV will compete against Honda's Mobilio, which is certainly much awaited model in India.
