Honda, the Japan based car maker in India has unveiled Honda Vision XS-1 Concept at the 2014 Auto Expo. The introduction of the Vision XS-1 Concept enables Honda to enter in a new compact SUV segment which is growing rapidly in the Indian subcontinent. If launched in India, it will compete with other popular compact SUVs like Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster.
The exteriors of Honda Vision XS-1 are truly amazing, especially the facia that gets broad single lined chrome front grille with company’s badge at the centre and stylish bumpers that house unique fog lamps. The sides are interesting too and have giant alloy wheels. At the sides, the metal par is more compared to the glasses. Even the interiors are soothing and have plenty of space to accommodate five passengers comfortably. The dashboard gets fine quality plastics and the interior fabric mating is also quite impressive. The production version of this compact SUV will be based on the ‘Vision XS-1’ concept.
Along with the Vision XS-1 concept, the car maker has also unveiled compact MUV Honda Mobilio which is anticipated to be launched in India by second half of 2014. Other than this, the company has also unveiled next generation Honda Jazz and Honda Fit.
