Nissan Micra Diesel to be launched tomorrow (December 10th,2010)

Nissan Micra Diesel, the most awaited model from Nissan's stable is ready to make its grand entry tomorrow (10th Dec 2010) at a price tag of Rs 4.5 lakh (Approximately). The pre orders of this beautiful car has already triggered. As disclosed by company officials, Nissan Micra Diesel will be launched on 10th of December 2010 at Nissan Mumbai Dealership at Worli Mumbai.

Nissan Micra is one of the most famous model in its segment and thus Nissan decided to bring a diesel version for Micra fans thus making hold in Diesel car markets as well. The beautiful Nissan Micra Diesel get its ultimate power of 63 bhp from its 1.5 L DCI engine giving peak torque of 16.3 kgm. The engine is similar to that in Mahindra Logan.
 The launch of Nissan Micra Diesel is beautified with two exclusive variants named Nissan Micra Diesel XV and Nissan Micra Diesel XV Premium. The powerful diesel car will be a good competition to Volkswagen Polo Diesel and Maruti Swift Diesel. Both these models are doing great in market by showcasing exceptional performance.
The Diesel version of Nissan Micra is giving a few changes as against its parent model Nissan Micra, petrol version. The length of Nissan Micra Diesel is lowered by 5 mm at 1525 mm while the wheel base is made broader with 175/60 R15 tyre in its top variant Nissan Micra Diesel XV Premium. Among the list of other changes you will also find ear knob and boldly colored rear spoiler. But as a minus point, the diesel version will not bear a few safety features as it appears in its petrol version which includes passenger airbag, ABS and EBD Assist.
