Today at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in Delhi, Honda has officially revealed the 2015 NSX concept. With this, the Japanese carmaker hints the entry in India. The vehicle was recently unveiled at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The NSX Concept has a low and wide stance. It has a clean, modern and simple surfacing with sharp details that provide a supercar feel and attitude. The car has a slanted rear that flows all the way back to the tail.
The new NSX Concept gets the direct-injected V-6 engine which is coupled to Acura's Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All-Wheel Drive) system. The Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system is basically a hybrid pairing torque vectoring all-wheel drive with hybrid efficiency, which uses three electric motors- one coupled to the V6 engine and the other two turns the front wheels. This powertrain is mated to a new dual-clutch transmission.
The NSX Concept has a length of 4,830mm, width 1,895mm, height 1,160mm and wheelbase of 2,575mm. It uses basic materials and CRFB aluminium (carbon fibre reinforced plastic), which makes it lighter and improves the performance in terms of aerodynamic than its predecessor.
The NSX Concept appears very futuristic from both exterior and interior. The headlights at the front come equipped with LED lights (Light Emitting Diode), while the rear profile feature a wing to offer a sporty image to this supercar.
